The DNP takes your nursing focus even further into a more clinical or systems focus, backed by a wide range of different responsibilities. In addition to increased clinical responsibilities, you will take on more administrative and leadership roles in regards to education, public policy, public health, or administration.
Many DNP programs are two years, but this depends on the school and on what certification degrees you already have.
